Está quase certo de Game of Thrones entrar para a história da televisão americana como a série de ficção mais premiada desde que o Emmy foi criado e provavelmente ocorrerá na noite deste domingo (18), na 68ª edição do Emmy.
A série já acumula 35 Emmys em suas seis temporadas, incluindo os nove que recebeu no fim de semana das categorias técnicas, mas a série poderá superar os 37 Emmys conquistados pela sitcom “Frasier” se ganhar ao menos mais três prêmios, mas é impossível alcançar o humorístico “Saturday Night Life”, da NBC, há décadas em cartaz nos Estados Unidos, que ostenta o recorde dos recordes, com 48 estatuetas.
A cerimônia dos Emmy será realizada no Microsoft Theatre de Los Angeles e o comediante Jimmy Kimmel que conduzirá o show (pela segunda vez –a primeira foi em 2012). Será transmitida hoje (18) a partir das 20h no Warner Channel.
